will this work for a .450 bushmaster with 16" barrel? and will it reduce felt recoil? Expert Answer

This buffer should work, though you may need to adjust the gas system. If you do not have an adjustable gas block and your system loses reliability, you may need to drop back to an H2 buffer.

Product came in a timely manner and functioned as advertised. I was a little disappointed to learn it was made in China however. I installed it in my 10.5" pistol to help with the ECHO trigger's functionality. Now I can really waist ammo!

My 458 socom was having a terrible time with feeding issues. So far this heavier buffer has just about fully eliminated the problem and definitely helped to lesson the recoil. A must have for my next big bore build as well

A gun buffer is a device that slows the movement of the gun that is reciprocated in a forward motion. The Leapers UTG H3 Buffer for AR15 Carbine consists of 3 heavy tungsten weights contained within a reinforced 6061-T6 aluminum body finished in a hard coat anodize and completed with a tightly fit end bumper. The Leapers UTG H3 Recoil Buffer increases the dwell time of the gun, eases the extraction and reduces felt recoil. This, therefore, makes shooting the AR platform more comfortable for the shooter. The Leapers UTG H3 Buffer might even improve the accuracy of slightly heavier calibers.image
