I purchased this for my 16” PSA mid-length upper. I normally prefer higher end gear but this fit like a charm. It tightens down nicely and would very likely hold zero if you mounted a laser. It looks great as well.

I think this is a nice piece if you have a traditional M4 setup and you want to move to some quad rails with minimal fuss and cost. That said I think this is the wrong idea if you are building from scratch as it really needs an A2 front site gas bloc...

This fit my Armalite M4 with mid length gas tube and triangle shaped front ring perfect. Rifle came with flimsy plastic camo hand guard with no rails. Armalite used cheap furniture during high demand Obama era production.

Put it on a PSA freedom rifle. It's big with aggressive lugs..really gives a firm grip on the rifle. It adds weight so the sights don't hop as much. The rifle went from hohum to one of my favorites for $60. Get you one while it's on sale.
