The Lee Deluxe Quick Trim Case Trimming Die (.35 REM) is made with a trimming chamber and specially designed to be used with the Lee Deluxe Quick Trim Case Trimmer and the Lee Value Quick Trim Case Trimmer. These case trimming dies ensure a consistent minimum trimming chamber size and are made from steel that has been hardened to ensure a long lasting lifetime of reloading. The Lee Speed-Tip is a special steel form that greatly reduces trimming times while maintaining a set square. To properly trim your cases, you must first heat them. When case heating causes the steel to expand, heat the case and then place the case mouth into the die. The precision and holding power of the steel forms a strong positive grip that reduces trimming forces. However the long adjusting stem attached to this die may cause the case mouth to expand so excess trimming pressure can be put on the case neck. If your case mouth is already trimmed, the neck may be cleaned and lubricated with either a little liquid hydrolyse or the case may be cleaned with a little liquid soap and water. Speed Trim Dies are O-ringed case trimming dies that only require trimming one case at a time.
