Lee 90894 Bullet Feed Kit One Kit 9mm - .365 Dia .46-.60 Long - The Bullet Feed Kit consists of a plate with spring and decapping pin assembly. A spring catches the bullet on the case mouth so that it feeds automatically into the seating die. The bullet is then captured by the spring and ejected by the decapping pin, usually the last one. Because of this, a single bullet can be loaded into the seating die very quickly indeed. And unlike many automatic loading machines, a little practice with the Bullet Feed Kit increases the cyclic rate anywhere from 50 percent to 100 percent. Bullets are also aligned more accurately. The feed kit works with most single-station presses, though some odd-ball presses due to their design. Bullets must be fed in at the top of the die as the seating die closes, otherwise the bullet will fall back a little further and possibly hit the pin or spindle bearing, usually at the bottom of the die. The longer bullets tend to self-index due to the seating die being seated into the decapping chamber. For those bullets that do not self-index, bullets must be fed in at the bottom of the spindle assembly.
