This Lee Bullet Mould specializes in producing a perfectly round, correctly-sized bullet every time. To produce a perfectly round, correctly-sized bullet takes a great deal of practice, especially during the forming process. By using a hardened steel core insert inserted into a steel mold the reloader can produce perfectly round, correctly-sized bullets after just a few casts. The steel core insert speeds up the sprue/pivot operation and also reduces fatigue on the part of the bullet caster during the sizing operation. This particular mold also has specially crimped block halves which helps produce perfectly round, correctly-sized bullets even after just a few casts.
