Manufactured to meet the needs of shooters all over the world, the Lee Round, Flat Nose Pistol Mould - Six Cavity (Handles Sold Separately) is an excellent resource for shooting enthusiasts and reloaders alike. The precision mold is made from aluminum blocks that resist rusting and are attached to steel handles with sturdy grips. It has a hard anodized sprue plate that is cam operated and holds the tempered steel spring washers in place. For easy release, the sprue plate slides out and pivots up to expose a spring-steel sprue ring. Prior to use, the mold should be shimmed and tapped firmly in place with a hammer. After sprueing, close the mold and slide it out; the hardened steel pins will lay flat on the sprue ring. The block halves should be shimmed and locked in place with a hammer and chisel for a perfect sprue. For added stability and strength, the cavity plugs are permanently sealed with a hardened steel shaft bushing. Then, when the mold is cool, punch the handle down to release the gas from the sprue pins.
