Maximum Expansion Technology produces projectiles that create the largest wound channels of any bullet on the market. This bullet is optimal for use in .45 Colt loads used in the Taurus Judge and S&W Governor revolvers and some single-shot firearms that can use it loaded to its long (required) COAL, which exceeds the standard for .45 Colt by 0.3 inches.

Lehigh Maximum Expansion rifle bullets expand with four petals to a diameter often twice the original bullet diameter while still providing deep penetration. Contrast this with a traditional jacketed bullet that expands and quickly mushrooms the nose along the bullet's shank, once again reducing the diameter to a less effective size. Through design and testing, they can move the expansion point and maintain the expansion diameter exactly where required, providing the optimum terminal performance for the specific application.

Maximum Expansion rifle bullets are available for .223 Remington, 300 Blackout, 300 HAM'R, .308 Winchester, and .30-06 Springfield.
