Lucas Oil Land & Sea 2-Cycle Oil, Quart 10467

Lucas 2-Cycle Land & Sea was specifically formulated to address the performance requirements of water cooled outboards and personal watercraft. It is fortified with a unique Lucas additive chemistry and an ashless detergent inhibitor package to minimize spark plug fouling, pre-ignition, and ring sticking. It also has applications in motorcycles requiring API TC oils, chain saws, snowmobiles, golf carts and lawn mowers. Mix ratio is 50:1 and is recommended for use in pre-mix or direct injection systems. NMMA® Certified. Not recommended for use in air cooled 2 cycle applications requiring JASO FC, FD oils.

• TCW-3 also will signify Ashless oil blend. This is big in the Marine industry due to the fact using non TCW-3 oils may allow deposits to form especially on the spark plug causing issues of hard start poor running conditions and worst case stranded on the water. This can be caused by the way a boat engine operates at a steady throttle unlike a 2 cycle motorcycle / lawn equip[ment with a varied throttle and speed
• Premix vs Injection Premix is like your 2 cycle lawn equipment whereas Injected has a reservoir that holds the oil separate from the gas and the two are mixed together prior to the mixture being delivered to the combustion chamber
• Has a performance additive to help reduce smoke and the build up of soot around the exhaust dump which is usually right by the propeller.
