The Explorer is a casual design that incorporates high performance features for those times when you want both protection and classic style out of your eyewear. With the same lens and frame construction and materials as ballistic-rated models, the Explorer provides extreme impact resistance, durability, and flexibility in a more lightweight package you can wear everywhere.
SIMPLE LOOK, ADVANCED PROTECTION
Though not rated to Z87.1 due to the wrap and shape of the Explorer, the lens and frames were engineered to the same ballistic impact protection standards as our other eyewear. Lenses provide high velocity impact protection. Frames are constructed of TR90NZZ, combining lightweight construction with dependable ballistic protection.
PREMIUM FEATURES BUILT IN
Oleophobic treatment of lenses provides liquid & other chemical protection + scratch resistance. Anti-reflective coating on inside of lenses minimizes distracting reflections. Coated stainless steel pins provide simple but dependable hinge functionality.
COMFORTABLE AND COMPATIBLE WITH YOU AND YOUR GEAR
Padded low profile temples integrate smoothly under helmets, communication headsets and over the ear hearing protection while providing comfort with rubber nose and temple pads. Rubber nose and temple pads are overmolded to the frame for durabilit. Frames and lenses suited for medium-sized faces.
