Mako Defense Basic Hand Gun Training is a jump start down the path of personal defense and combat situation awareness. The Basic Hand Gun Training session will cover common hand gun operation including drawing, aiming, reloading, and more. Plus you will get a Krav Maga hand-to-hand contact fighting which uses the latest techniques employed by the Israeli Special Forces. Mako Defense instructors have extensive experience as operators and instructors in the most elite Israeli Special Forces units and Israeli secret service. There is no easier way to train with Israeli Special Forces.image

This tactical pistol course is ideal for all who carry a pistol in the course of their service, employment or for self-defense. Regardless of your skill, you will be trained to a level of proficiency exceeding that of many professional firearms instructors. Even novice shooters gain the skill, confidence, and experience to effectively defend themselves and their families in only a few days of Mako Defense training. Experienced shooters learn that skill with a firearm on the range does not equal effective fighting skills. Law enforcement and military personnel bring their existing skills to a much higher level. Mako Defense teaches a comprehensive fighting discipline consisting of mind-set, easy unarmed defense techniques, and effective weapons training.

Requirements of Mako Instinctive Shooting Pistol I Training:

  • Gun holster - Strong side on the belt preferred. Strong side IWB permitted.
  • Holsters must be of sufficient quality to ensure safety. Retention systems must be safe to operate. Holsters without retention systems must hold the pistol securely. (we will have available holsters for purchase on site)
  • Small-of-the-back, cross-draw, and shoulder holsters not permitted for safety reasons.
  • Dual magazine holster
