I mounted this rail to my venerable P226 to demote it to nightstand duty. This rail fit my gun out of the box with no fitting or modifications. It now holds a Streamlight TLR1 and has held up to firing a few hundred rounds without any new issues.

The FAB Defense Picatinny Rail Adapter Mount for SIG 226 allows rail based flash lights and accessories such as an M3/M6 to be mounted on the Sig P226 pistol. These Picatinny Rails by the expert product specialists at FAB Defense let the rear rocker switch activate by the fire control finger or the thumb of your off hand. The FAB Defense Picatinny Rail Adapter Mount for SIG 226 has a three piece lightweight aluminum construction that easily clamps over the existing Sig P226 trigger guard. These Picatinny Rails are machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and has a hard coat anodized, matte black, per mil-spec finish. The FAB Defense Picatinny Rail Adapter Mount for SIG 226fits tightly enough to maintain zero on the M6 laser.image
