These ring supports are designed to hold electrode wires in place without damaging the wire by electrolysis action. One end has an enlarged slot to minimize bridging of the supporting wire. The ring is unbreakable and can be easily removed by turning the ring. The electrode contacts are encapsulated in liquid nitrogen to eliminate any chance of contamination of the solution with a radioactive source. The other end is a ring of shrink tubing designed to fit snugly into any electrode holder or manometer to provide an electrophoresis function. Constructed from medical grade vinyl, these supports serve to hold wires, electrodes, or wires in place while the associated clamping device is operated.
