Our bait savers are very unique, in that each receptacle is designed with a special drainage fitting that allows the receptacle to be tilted at an angle, reducing the amount of water that is sucked into the trap. This design also allows the receptacle to be tilted in the opposite direction, which provides excellent drainage for the trap. To use the trays, first tilt the trap to the lowest setting, allowing the water to flow over the trap and out the drainage hole. Then add water, let it stand for the required amount of time, and then allow the trap to air dry on a clean surface. This keeps the trap from clumping and can be reused many times.
