The Matrix Arms AR-15 9mm Stripped Upper Receiver does have the LRBHO feature. So as long as you use an AR9 lower with a LRBHO feature, it will work as intended.

The Matrix Arms AR-15 9mm Stripped Upper Receiver is designed for 9MM BCG's and uses a smaller ejection port. I would recommend using a standard Mil-spec AR15 stripped upper like the one provided in the link below.
