Product Info for Meade USB to RS-232 Bridge Cable 07507

Meade USB to RS-232 Bridge Cable 07507 allows you to connect your Meade Telescope to your PC through a high speed USB port, rather than through a slower serial port. This is particularly useful with the laptop computers most astronomers use to control their telescopes in the field. Meade Telescope USB Adapter 07507 includes a short Cable with a DB-9 connector at one end and a USB connector at the other. An in-line inductor helps eliminate electromagnetic interference. The DB-9 end of Meade USB to RS232 Bridge Cable 07507 is designed to mate with the DB9 connector on Meade #505 Connector Cable, Meade #506 Cable, or Meade #1560-2 Cable that are normally used to connect a Meade Telescope to a computer. The USB end of the Meade USB RS 232 Cable 07507 plugs into your computer. Included CD-ROM contains the necessary software program your computer needs to convert the serial signals to and from the telescope to USB format signals that the computer and computer control programs can recognize.
