Product Info for Meade #1A Skylight Filter/Dust Seal 07288
This 36mm clear aperture Meade #1A Skylight Filter/Dust Seal 07288 threads onto the rear cell of all Meade 8" to 16" Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes, in front of the visual back or photo accessories. The visual back, T-adapter, etc., threads onto the rear of the filter, which duplicates the telescope's 2" rear cell thread. All visual and photo accessories (except Barlows) can be used normally.
# 1A Meade Skylight Filter 07288 threads onto the rear cells of all Meade LX-Series Telescopes and effectively seals the interior of the telescope from dust. All other rear cell accessories may then be threaded to the #1A Meade Filter. Meade Skylight Filter # 1-A increases visual and photographic contrast, decreases glare, and helps to penetrate haze.
