Mec-Gar USAs new X-Flite magazine for the Taurus PT 92/99 is an excellent choice for reliable holstering. The magazine consists of a heat treated carbon steel tube, which has been heat treated with a dimpled design that accepts standard Mec-Gar floorplates, springs, and follower. The spring has been replaced with a high tensile music wire that has been formulated to withstand the stresses of holstering while preventing slippage. A new dimpled design allows the magazine to easily release from the pistol. All Mec-Gar USA X-Flite mags come with a built-in anti-roll notch to prevent the spring from coming undone during use. Mec-Gar USA X-Flite mags are new production, and have been designed to address the issues of the Taurus PT 92/99, specifically the holster feeding malfunctions.
