Once you zero in the scope does it adjust for what range you are shooting at?

The laser on the optic is slaved to the reticle so any adjustments made to the reticle will be seen with the laser. However the laser does only cross paths with the reticle at about 300 yards, anything closer and it should be around 1 inch away from the reticle. Aside from that this is not a magnified optic so the reticle will stay tuned for whatever distance you zero it at.
