This handpiece performs duties from counting drops to volumetric calculations. Its unique handle contains a spirit burner. The burner provides hot gas to the piston at constant volume, which prevents acids or alkalis from eroding the samples. The sealing provides a tight and leakproof fit. It can withstand a good deal of weight. The air-tight and chemical-resistant surface keeps samples free from contamination. The burette features a sealing ring at the mouth and a worm gear mechanism. To fill the burette, first compress the bulb and a safety clip. Then insert the tip into the burette, replace the bulb, and tighten the set screw.
