Provides a rail for the Mini Draco - room for a red dot on top, hand stop on the bottom (grip not legal on a pistol) and light or laser on the side. The red dot is really useful given the extremely short sight radius with the supplied iron sights.
I have Midwest Rails on all 3 of my AK's and love them. This rail is easy to install and very durable (just remember to locktite all the screws). It definitely adds to the look of the gun and helps cover the gas block as opposed to the standard wood ...
