Very sturdy, and can take a beating. the only small negative thing about this baton is that if you whip it out too fast the bearings sometimes do not lock into place and bounce back. But, once you learn the correct speed to open it at, it will lock...

Monadnock AutoLock Baton Defender protects your gun hand from hostile strikes with a guard that fits over your knuckles. The guard helps keep the baton firmly in your grip during blocking, striking and jabbing techniques. The AutoLock Defender Baton from Monadnock locks open until you decide to collapse it with the push of a button. Monadnock Auto Lock Defender Batons are easy to access and open with either a flick of your wrist or a simple pull to achieve a passive draw.image
