This Thermal Eye Shuttered Eyeguard A3256345 replaces the standard eyecup on PVS-14 and NV 6015 type monoculars. The Thermal Eye Shuttered Eyeguard prevents illumination emitted from the Night Vision Accessories 's eyepiece by lighting up the users face, making him visible to others in the field, and giving away his position. When you press down on the eyecup it opens (shutters) so that you can see into the night vision device.image
