Immersion oil BA300 is a clear silicone based oil that has excellent dispensing characteristics. The premolar amount of silicone in this oil prevents surface deposition while observing. The color of the oil allows easy recognition of objects of different shapes and sizes. Immersion oil BA300 is excellent for manipulating and imaging objects. The oil has excellent chemical stability and is easily absorbed into the object being viewed. Unlike water, immersion oil does not evaporate during the time it takes for a liquid to dry. When the oil begins to turn cloudy, remove the oil with a clean cotton swab or paper towel to prevent any residue from clogging the optics.
