The photo adaptor for B3 provides an enlarged area for taking photographs through the optical system of the B3 plus a mirror for enlarging the photo. Motic Instruments uses a reliable 3 hour burning lamp that does not require any specific kind of cooling down prior to taking the photograph. You can take long exposures (up to one hour) without noticing a difference in brightness. This enables high contrast in the photo and the sharpness of the image.
