Pellets equivalent to corn size can be used in this unit. You will want to avoid as much powder as possible as it will foul the feeder up.

It is meant specifically for "Moultrie 30 or 55-gallon barrel* or Moultrie 6.5-gallon bucket" so compatibility with another manufacturers barrel/bucket cannot be guaranteed.
