Most ammo is stored in the reloading compartment of a rifle box. Usually, the reloading compartment is a small sleeve that needs to be centered in the rear cavity of a rifle box to hold the collected accumulated dust and dirt from the casings. Because of this, storing ammunition in the reloading compartment of a rifle box is a relatively simple task. However, sometimes a sleeve needs to be centered in the rear cavity as well. This is where the MTM J-20 series of Ammo Boxes comes in handy. The J-20 series of MTM Ammo Boxes has a very thin rear compartment that needs just a slid in order to close it. Simply place the cartridge case in the rear cavity, center the sleeve in the rear cavity and place the cartridge case in the rear cavity. Then slide the sleeve with the pre-printed hole in it onto the box body and slid it in from the side. In this manner the only downward pressure the ammunition receives is from the fingers gripping the ammo. The inside of the J20 Ammo Box is plastic lined to help prevent the separation of the inner container from the box walls and prevent corrosion. The only thing you need to fasten the ammo box to the ammo and then close it.
