Combination of a unique physical and chemical property makes this material excellent for use in both hot and cold storage. This material is also excellent for use with hot liquids and powders. The primary impurity in this material is free chlorine (which causes etching), which causes etch failure. The color of this material is also excellent for use in hot liquids and powders. The surface of this material is also very smooth. Care should be taken to avoid etching or denting, which tend to make samples darker. Filled via a two-part opening with a molded-in sealing ring, complete with a polypropylene knock-off cap. Bottles with a wider mouth are ideal for use with hot liquids or for containing light-sensitive samples. Ordering Information: Packaged in quantities of 12 bottles per case, except as noted.
