The wide-mouth polypropylene plastic pitcher is good for delivering liquids at low to medium volumes. The pitcher has a big-mouth design that provides a large working volume and deep, fully-vented capacity. The pitcher has a "Class I" fire wall, so no venting is required through the closure. Simply turn the knob to release the heat quickly. The pitcher can then be used in an autoclave for neoprene bags filled with powder to make them easy to dispense. One-piece molded construction is leakproof. The smooth-sided finish is easy to clean. It is also autoclavable with a BPA-free polypropylene screw cap. Ordering Information: All pitchers are left unbreakable for manufacturing reasons. Polypropylene can break during any of the following: boiling, centrifugation, or impacting. It is recommended that the lid be removed for opening.
