This Nunclon* Carboy Biotainer Carboy is ideal for storing, preserving, and transporting liquids and powders. The open-bottom design has a spacer notch to allow the user to stack additional carboys on top of this one, reducing the total number of samples needed to prepare a standard curve. The wide mouth allows complete access to the contents. The last two panels have a spacer notch to allow an extra layer of spacers to be inserted, reducing the total number of possible perishable items to be stored in the container. Carboys have a shatter-resistant polyethylene cap and a polyethylene plug valve on the filling port that reduces leaks by preventing liquids from entering and exiting the Carboy. The plug itself is easily removed by pulling on the orange polyethylene plug and removing it manually with a nail or the Carboy will be blown out.
