These wide mouth carboys have molded-in graduations and a spout. Made of tough, steam autoclavable polypropylene, these wide mouth carboys provide excellent chemical and radiation resistance. The spout provides a controlled outlet and allows the contents to be pumped out with minimal loss of product. The manufacturing method avoids the gelling of protein agglomerates that may form on exposure to elevated temperatures. The carboys are excellent for storing and removing hot materials. Wide mouth design provides excellent spout and pouring capabilities. Handles are constructed of high-density polyethylene, which provides excellent chemical and radiation resistance.
