The distinctive ultra-smooth surface helps prevent sample evaporation during centrifugation, and withstands boiling temperatures. The unique brush-lined plug seal provides a leakproof connection, and prevents contamination of samples. Tubes feature a write-on identification code on the base of the tube, allowing easy laboratory identification of the contents.
