Cylinders feature a see through clear lid with a single puffed out bubble. The clear lid is frosted to allow visualization of the internal volume. Cylinders are made of borosilicate glass. The anodized finish makes breakage less likely and increases the lifetime of the cylinders. They are supplied with a standard taper ground shank (threaded at both ends) with a large mouth enabling one hand operation. Large opening provides excellent visualization of the internal volume. Small opening also allows one hand operation. Large hole reduces the chance of cutting or piercing. Holes cut through cylindric body can be easily made with a power of hand held syringe. Large openings are easier to clean and maintain.
