The NALGENE FILTER HOLDING SYSTEM consists of a molded frame and a special spring-loaded ring that receives the cartridge and a plug-in retaining strap that secures the cartridge in place. The spring-loaded ring firmly holds the cartridge in place and the unique design allows the cartridge or filter to be removed and re-sealed several times if necessary. Flow rates through the cartridge or filter may be measured and recorded. Filters feature an enlarged flow indicator window and an improved filter-selective element.
