Product Category Description:

Ideal for applications where both light- and heat-activated fluids and powders are present in the sample. Particularly suited for applications where there is significant surface tension in the sample. The particular surface structure of the top of the jerrican is optimized for heat and vacuum applications. The bottom of the jerrican is optimized for flow performance in a wide variety of containers including ice chests, centrifuges, and ultra-violet counters. The necks of the jerricans are specially designed to fit snugly into special clamps that have been threaded for the closures to be aligned when the necks are closed. For this reason the jerricans are molded as one piece with the support structure included in the design. Ordering Information: The jerricans come double-molded with the necks already assembled into one solid piece. The retaining rings are molded into the jerrican, and the base and neck are threaded to accomodate the snap-in valves. The necks are constructed from molded-in sealing rings. The necks are double-threaded with metal "Y" bolts. Consult manufacturer for other neck styles.
