The Jerrican with Built-In Handle and Plastic Lid offers storage and handling advantages over traditional round and square jerricans. The Jerrican is perfect for storing a variety of materials at room temperature or even frozen. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene, the jerrican is suitable for use in normal, low-humidity conditions or near boiling points. The plastic lid is fitted with a flip-top cover and fitted with a center perfor in the sidewall for added protection from needles and other contamination. The Jerrican offers greater impact resistance than previously believed possible, making it useful for handling and pouring applications. The straight-sided jerrican has a slightly wider mouth to allow for the use of a syringe for access. The jerrican with a square or rectangular cross section exhibits excellent impact resistance, making it useful for applications with a round or square bottom. The cover has molded vents to minimize latent vacuum or pressure differences inside the vessel, reducing susceptibility of needle damage.
