The innoculation loops of Nalge Nunc Microscope Systems provide a liquid medium in the form of a semi-solid medium which is absorbed by the host organism. This feature provides the advantage of a continuous loop whereas the standard loop is segmented into short narrow sections. This feature enables smoother and more efficient inoculation. Further, the kidney-shaped loops make it easier and more convenient to inoculate. Simply place one or more loops into the inoculation dish, slide the loops into the appropriate vessel and gently rock the vessel back and forth to circulate the medium. This feature also prevents the loops from tangling with other loops or bottles hung above the innoculation loops. Further, the innoculation loops prevent contamination of cultures by absorbing stray nuclei and reducing the change of contamination of multi-well plates and slides. Supplied with 1000 loops.
