Caps are made of polymethylpentene and feature a neoprene plug and are in the form of a globular shape which conforms to the neck of bottles and tubes irrespective of the size of the opening. After sealing, break or cut the seal anywhere along the length of the cap to release the air/gas molecules contained within the bottle. The easiest and best way to use these Polypropylene Screw Caps is to cap and seal the bottle as completely as possible after filling and before sealing. After sealing, twist the rim around the inside of the cap to firmly fasten the sealing ring against the bottle neck. Bottles with Polypropylene Caps are supplied with a Polyethylene plug-seal neckband to assure that once a leak occurs, the bottle must be capped immediately.
