The round-bottom design provides a stable platform for centrifugation and enhanced sample recovery. These polypropylene tubes are recommended for applications requiring a high level of accuracy and reproducibility. The unique two-piece, open-bottom design prevents cross-contamination between applications. They have extremely strong, smooth bottoms allowing for full rinsing several times without plugging. The unique ridged cap design enables a liquid to be trapped at the bottom of the tube when rinsing is complete. The cap is easy to remove for filling and pouring, and resists chemical breakdown. The flared, round bottom design provides added strength and durability. They are autoclavable under normal autoclaving guidelines. The polypropylene copolymer formulation provides for excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. The soft polypropylene copolymer rims provide an excellent slip resistance.
