The PTFE sealing cap can withstand frequent openings and closings and is designed for prolonged trouble-free performance. The low profile design ensures the PTFE sealing cap fits closely to the vessel periphery. It can withstand the use of most autoclaves and etham lab cleaners. For best fit, apply a PTFE lubricant to the threads of the sealing cap and ensure the PTFE compound remains lubricated following PTFE replacement. Insert the sealing cap to the test tube and firmly press it onto the sample tube. Allow the sample to stand in the etham container containing the PTFE gel ring, stirrer, or magnetic stirring bar, then release the gasket to allow the seal to cure.
