Product Category Description:

Lightweight resin half racks are ideal for small volume production runs of new formulations of resins. Manufactured with chemically inert, post-cure glass fibers crosslinked with sodium polyacetate to produce a chemically inert resin which can be easily recovered by simply reheating. Resins exhibit increased viscosity on drying and may be easily removed by hot air gun from drying oven after addition of a few drops of acid or alkali. Resins also exhibit outstanding chemical resistance. The amino-functional group in particular chemically reacts with nitrogen to form a network of positive ions within the resin. This causes the colorless, clear resin to develop a two-phase system with water as the only phase. This makes clean up easy, and since the half racks are molded, there is no residual solvent to clean up afterward.
