These Whirl-Pak Bags have a built-in ice pack and provide a rapid means of delivering controlled amounts of acid or alkali to a sample being held in the bag. The bags feature a built-in ice pack and serve as a spill containment reducing the chance of accidentally contaminating ambient laboratory workers with spilled liquids. The minimum volume of bag is one liter and the maximum volume is four liters. The minimum volume of bag is five liters. To use the bag, simply cut the bottom of the bag open completely, shake it several times, and seal. The bag is then air-permeated with a non-toxic, environmentally friendly epoxy. Chemical and handling properties have been fully tested. Phthalocyanine blue and acid resistant.
