These Thermo Scientific headspace glass vials have a crimp-top and are supplied with a ST glass-crimp-head. The ST glass-crimp-head produces an internal vacuum within the vial, virtually eliminating all leaks. The ST glass-crimp-top prevents any leakage of the headspace gas into the room air. The ST glass-crimp-top prevents any liquids or powders from escaping the vial. This assures a consistent dead space throughout the life of the vial. The ST glass-crimp-top prevents any leakage of the headspace gas into the room air. The ST glass-crimp-top prevents any leakage of the headspace gas into the room air. It is the only fully autoclavable closure for the Vials, which means they may be broken by hand without causing any damage.
