With borosilicate glass Vials, each vial is made to deliver a consistent drop size. Very rarely, a bursting or excessively leaky vial is encountered; if there is any doubt, refer to the data sheet. Designed for use with Shimadzu* Autosamplers and is supplied with a septa adapter. Delivery information: Vials and septa are supplied as a standard starting set with all new Shimadzu* autosamplers. Contains a borosilicate cone. Autosamplers require the new rounder needle valve stem to avoid bursting and to allow easier sampling. Round-bottom Vials have a uniform round bottom shape. Autosamplers take a molded sample valve housing with a large funnel-like flare. Samples are dispensed with a small cotton plug retainer and a cotton plug retainer. Round-bottom Vials are supplied with a snap-on rubber sealing cap. Back-barrel depressions are made of a molded, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) to provide a consistent large opening diameter. Round-bottom Vials are designed to work with cylindrical needles.
