New Thermo Scientific Vials with wide necks are molded of borosilicate glass, have fully crimp-sealed necks, and are ideal for use with viscous liquids, suspensions, and powders. Thermo Scientific offers a wide variety of highly polished inside-the-wall surfaces in vials, including the top and bottom. All have an area of smooth surface completely suited for applying a label or producing a gasket-less gasket seal. For manufacturing procedures that require a tight seal, use the Vials with Nomex*a sealant. The Vials with NPT threads are the standard delivery type, but with a wider neck for accommodating a larger volume of liquid inside the vial.
