These vials have a uniform neck size and are supplied with a red Vial ID patch molded into the base. The color of the vial neck is consistent regardless of whether the vial is new or used. Thermo Scientific Crimp Top Vials can be used for dialysis or centrifugation. They can also be used for freeze dryer loading and unloading. Thermo ScientificTM Wide-Opening Crimp Top Vials are designed for use with molecular distillation columns and automatic distillation machines equipped for dilatation and tangential loading.
