Does not fit Ruger 556 bayonet lug without cutting 3/16" off. But once you do that and paint it... it fits pretty good and does it's job. So do your homework before buying this product, not all bayonet lugs are the same. If your good with a dremel to...

This attached just fine to the bayonet little jigger metal thingy on this Remington ar15. I had to trim the connector slightly to make it fit, not hard. I could have spent more on something fancy but this seems to work fine.
