Fit is bigger than listed, I initially bought x-large based on measurements and it was huge. Chin Straps seem marginal (thin material) but functional. chin straps would probably would be the first thing to go over time. helmet is otherwise solid and ...

The MCSTAR Level IIIA Ballistic Helmet Is Designed For Hard Knock-Out Resistance Against Blunt Forces And Impact. The Advanced Duct Design Significantly Reduces Weight And Boosts Ventilation Making It A Good Suit For Long Days On End. The Removable Goggle Chamber Allows For Easy And Quick Disposal Of The Ballistic Collar While Allowing Continued Use Of The Helmet Without Having To Remove It Completely. The Removable Liner Constructed Of A Lightweight Polyester Material Enabled By A Zip Lining Which Serves As A Shock Absorbing Dampening Agent. While Not Providing A Full Liner Cap, The Low Profile Design Still Allows For Easy And Continued Usage Of The Helmet Even When It Is Not Being worn. The Optical Quality Screen Present In The Front Of The Helmet Allows For The Clearance To Sight Into The Front Mount Assembly While Removing The Goggle Chamber. In Addition To The Front Assembly, The Mounting Rails Are Left Open Allowing The User To Attach A Muff To The Front. In Addition To The Muffs, The Front Rails Are Left Open For The Mounting Of Night Vision Accessories.
