WILL THIS FIT ON A TAURUS MODEL 44 Expert Answer

No, it will not fit as this red dot is meant to be used for 3/8" dovetail receivers. Provided below is a link to a mount that will allow you to mount any red dot that uses a weaver style mount:

There is no way to install this red dot to standard handgun. This red dot has a 3/8" mount meant for air guns and rimfire firearms with 3/8" dovetails.
