Can you trim some of the excess material surrounding the outside edge flaps? Or is it like vacuum sealed and would be unsealed? Expert Answer

The NcSTAR Soft Ballistic Panels cannot have the edges trimmed. They are sealed to protect against moisture and materials.

shot with lehigh defense extreame penatrator 9mm, 10mm hollow point, and a 9mm novx copper polymer bullet goin 1700fps. it stopped everything, the pieces stopped bullets too. light weight and flexible. i wasted 80 bux on 2 panels to give myself peace...

Perfect size and the fact that it’s not cut makes it easier for sewing them in to anything! I was able to easily sew them into my kids back packs for a fraction of the price of other panels out there.
