Since an action rod is an important tool in every builders arsenal, we created our own to offer to our customers. Whether you build a new rifle, change barrels or handguards, or simply change muzzle devices, an action rod is a must have tool.

Mount the action rod in your vise. Then, simply slide it through the upper receiver and into the barrel extension. This provides a stable base when installing barrel nuts and muzzle devices on your upper. Since you are locked into the barrel extension, you also prevent applying stress to your upper receiver, avoiding damage to your upper while you torque the barrel nut or tighten your muzzle device.
